Grameen Bandh on 16th February, SKM Released Guideline

New Delhi: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha -SKM has issued the following Guideline  for the Grameen Bandh on 16th February 2024.

SKM appeals the people across the country to support and cooperate to make the historic struggle to end corporate loot, save agriculture and save India successful.

The Grameen Bandh will be observed from 6 am to 4 pm on 16.02.2024. The Village remain closed for all agricultural activities/ MNREGS Works/ Rural works; No farmer, agricultural worker and rural worker to join work-

The supply and purchase of vegetables, other crops will remain suspended; All the village shops, grain markets, vegetable markets, government and non government offices, rural industrial and service sector institutions  and enterprises in private sector are requested to remain closed.The Shops and establishments  of towns  remain closed for the Strike Hours

Normal Public and private transport to remain off the roads. Ensure passage to emergency services of ambulance, death, marriage, medical shops, newspaper supply, Board exams, Passengers to Airport. 

Farmers will join Massive Chakka Jam / Rastha Roko/ Road Picketing  during 12 pm to 4 pm.

The massive demonstrations / rally and  public meeting followed by cultural programme at village, tehsil and district centers with farmers, workers and  all other sections of the people  to join with family members.
